Join the 2025 Senior Extravaganza | May 14

Accomack County Parks & Recreation, Eastern Shore AAA/CAA, and the Eastern Shore Center for Independent Living are teaming up to celebrate Older Americans Month with a fun-filled Senior Extravaganza!

Join us Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Chincoteague Community Center. This year’s theme is “Flipping the Switch on Aging”, and the event is open to all community members to come celebrate older Americans ages 60 and up. Expect a day packed with music, games, door prizes, a catered lunch, and even a runway walk to show off your favorite outfit or fan!

Local organizations are invited to participate as vendors—no product sales, but flyers, giveaways, and goody bags are encouraged. Each vendor is asked to bring a door prize.
