Stand Up and Be Counted: Veterans Outreach – May 10

Have you or someone you know ever served in the military? Join us for Stand Up and Be Counted, a special veterans outreach event happening Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at three locations across the Eastern Shore.

This multi-site event is designed to honor your service and connect you with the benefits, resources, and support you’ve earned. Representatives will be on hand to help ensure your service is recognized and recorded. A light lunch will be served at each location.

Participating Locations:

• Post 159, American Legion, Chincoteague
• Post 100, Tasley Volunteer Fire Company, Accomac
• Post 56, American Legion, Cheriton

Whether you served in the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, National Guard, Navy, or Space Force—your service matters. Come out, get counted, and access the support you deserve!
