Free Tax Prep: Nandua’s VITA Program Offers IRS-Certified Help

Tax season can be stressful for many individuals and families, especially those who may not be able to afford professional tax preparation services. However, Nandua High School in Virginia’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program is here to help. The program provides free income tax preparation to individuals and families with a household income of less than $60,000 a year.
The best part? All tax returns are prepared by IRS-trained and certified student volunteers. This means that you can trust that your taxes are being handled by knowledgeable individuals who are receiving guidance and support from the IRS.
To take advantage of this opportunity, it is important to bring all necessary documents to the appointment. The program operates by appointment only, and appointments can be made at https://tinyurl.com/NHSVITA.
The program is available until April 4, 2023, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The program offers tax preparation services in both English and Spanish.
